| Welcome to my website. I started this back in 1994 as a means of keeping in touch with my family and friends as I moved around the country and world. It's grown and changed since then as I've added to it. It is just a means of expressing myself just as one might publish songs or art. Why the nickname "coyote"? I've always been interested in boundaries. I honor Hermes and other god/desses that transcend boundaries. Tricksters are everywhere in myth and story. They fulfill a deep need. To laugh at the sacred and to honor the vulgar, to help us realize what we hold dear (and why) and what we ought to let go of (and why) and so forth. So many boundaries... and for what? What truly divides us, separates us? I ever seek to honor that inner trickster within me. I also love dogs and go hiking a lot and since I am as likely to be hiking in the hills under moonlight as anything else, I chose coyote... and coyote chose me. |
